National Celebration of Pro Bono Week

Every year in October the American Bar Association joins legal organizations from around the country in hosting the National Celebration of Pro Bono. Beginning on Sunday, October 23rd, legal aid providers and non-profit organizations like The Pro Bono Project honor their volunteers and supporters. This year The Pro Bono Project is hosting a number of events to draw attention to civil legal aid and the important work volunteer lawyers, law students, paralegals, and others do to support access to justice for under-served and under-represented members of our community.

New Orleans Bar Association & Foundation Host Bowling Tournament

The Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association will host the 2022 Pro-Bowl-O Tournament on Thursday, June 2, 2022. The Pro-Bowl-O Tournament is a fundraiser that supports the work of The Pro Bono Project and its efforts to provide free, quality legal services to the residents in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. Tammany, and Washington Parishes.

The event will be at Rock'n'Bowl on June 2, 2022 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Those interested in supporting the cause can purchase a team of six, or individual tickets if you prefer to just mix and mingle! Both include access to food, the open bar, game room, and lounge areas. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
