The Pro Bono Project is starting the National Celebration of Pro Bono a day early. The Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association will participate in The Pro Bono Project’s Family Law and Estate Planning Legal Workshop on Saturday, October 22nd. Volunteers will be present to work with our divorce, succession, will, and power of attorney clients.

Louisiana Appleseed and The Pro Bono Project will host an informative, FREE PROFESSIONALISM CLE (credit pending). The seminar will cover the history of small successions laws, the importance of title clearing methods, and how to use the Small Succession Affidavit. Attendees will learn more about the new rules that allow attorneys to earn CLE credit for doing pro bono work and will be encouraged to take on a pro bono case.
